Run 1176 - Stiffy's Stag Hash

What a great turn out for Stiffy’s Stag Hash.  Great photos and Noddy provided horns for everyone.  Gnome alone looked very bit the part of the Best Man.  Shame the role has already been taken by James, Big Stiffy’s son.

Noddy looked rather splendid in the green shorts and a yellow vest.  She decided not to run a three-legged race with Hotlips for the whole trail (they were awarded the shorts jointly last week) because Hotlips was the hare but also because Noddy was making her run the whole trial in a wedding veil.  Enough pubishment really.

Dipstick introduced himself to Mismatch as he didn’t think they had met before.  A little later on the trail as she went ahead of him up a hill he realised that he did know her.  He recognised her more from the rear!

A little later one we entered a field and Mismatch let Darling off the lead.  She set off like a rocket to find her ‘mum and dad’.  Gatecrasher nearly rugby tackled her but luckily she came back on her own.

After a lovely trail -  Big Stiffy had found parts of Brightwell that Hotlips didn’t know existed – it was back to Hotlips’ parents house for bubbly and cake.  Absolutely lovely.  An alcoholic Down Down was issued at Didcot for the first time – to Dipstick for his insightful, and complimentary, comment on Mismatch’s bottom.  No point giving him a vest as we won’t see him again for weeks.

It was tempting to award a shirt to Dancing Queen who almost made the hash.  He was in the car park, then disappeared quickly.

The paddle nearly went to Gnome Alone for his outfit but the judges finally went for Mismatch for losing Darling.  Noddy was convinced the green shorts had been shrunk in the wash so awarded them to Hotlips for washing them a few weeks ago.

Noddy awarded Hotlips a man training kit and then all the ladies queued up to for the last opportunity to feel Stiffy’s lump.  The rather sombre mood was broken by Noddy asking if anyone wanted to feel the chief bridesmaid’s lumps!  The queue stretched round the block.  But I’m not sure what Stiffy’s grandchildren made of it all.
