A sunny, but rather chilly morning was waiting for all us willing runners - along with Ringer in those shorts!  It was lovely to see Twitcher again but a bit late to start his fitness regime for the ski trip next week!  La Crease, FBJ and his bugle made a welcome return too.

The hare left us as he couldn't be bothered to get up early enough to lay the trail completely before 1100!

We set off out of the village, and down the farm tracks to the first fishhook.  At the next check the trail went right and we were back on the road.  Left and straight on through the houses until we reached the footpath at the end of the cul de sac. Through the gate to the left and straight across the field.  Straight across the next field to a check.  Each way was tried and then someone realised that we had to go back over the style and back across the field - but at a slight angle!  This is where Mismatch caught us up having run all the way from her house! more fields and more mud.  How did Tinkerbell keep those white leggings so clean?

Eventually we came out by the mill in East Hanney and turned left to do an extra loop.  Back to the main road through the village where Wimpey and Lemony cut back because they had to get to a rugby match (very good, thanks for asking).  The rest of them did a further loop to the south of East Hanney, coming tantalizingly close to the pub but having to loop off East again before the final On Inn.

As I missed the pub I am not sure of the fines awarded.  If someone wants to let me know, I shall update this.
